Nash Finch Company Announces $70 Million in New Business

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Nash Finch Company (Nasdaq: NAFC - news), a Minneapolis-based food retailer and distributor, today announced the company has gained the business of several market-leading customers representing $70 million in sales on an annual basis. This is in addition to the more than $130 million in new business from independent retailers and military suppliers throughout the first half of the year.

New Nash Finch customers include:

Marketplace Foods, a supermarket retailer with four stores in Wisconsin, Casey's Foods, a seven-store supermarket retailer located in Kentucky; Viking Village Market, a single-store independent retailer operating in Wisconsin
Three new Acme Fresh Markets in North Carolina, formerly Piggly Wiggly retail outlets, join 11 stores already supplied by Nash Finch; Casey's General Stores, Inc., a leading convenience store chain in the Midwest
